Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to understand the need to develop and supply the IT amalgamated glasses appropriate for social changes and demands, the glasses for the week and the elderly, and the specially functioned glasses, and is to aware of the current development status to mass-produce the various forms of functional glasses. The study shows that the optical industry is expected to be revitalized along with the development of functional glasses because the patent application rates of glasses are steadily increasing every year. It is also anticipated that the optical industry competitiveness will be strengthened with the development to manufacture the modular glass frame suited for diverse functional glasses, a variety of high-tech functional glasses, and the functional glasses for the blind.
